The rooms at Brauner Hirsch were cozy and comfortable, with a nice wardrobe to keep our belongings organized. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the flat-screen TV, watching our favorite shows after a long day of exploring. Having a private bathroom in each room was a major plus, and the bed linen and towels provided were clean and fresh.
Personally, I found the connected double rooms with one bathroom slightly inconvenient, but it might not bother others.

The staff at Brauner Hirsch were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome on arrival. They even provided a charging facility for my wife's mobility scooter, which was a huge help. The hotel's restaurant served an excellent evening meal, and the beer garden provided a lovely setting to enjoy the warm weather. The room was comfortable and the breakfast provided was excellent.
We felt so welcome during our stay that there was no reason to complain about anything.

The hotel had a lovely and nostalgic decor that reminded me of the good old days. The beautiful furniture and paintings gave the place a charming and cozy atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed spending time in the hotel's common areas, such as the lounge and dining area, where I could relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior person, I also appreciated that the hotel had easy accessibility with no stairs to climb, allowing me to move around freely and comfortably.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the staff to offer more assistance and support. Although the children working there were polite and friendly, I would have liked them to be more attentive and proactive in addressing the needs of senior guests.

Checking in to the hotel was a bit confusing and frustrating. The lack of direction and signage made it difficult to navigate when we arrived.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel, especially in the common areas. The cozy furniture and beautiful artwork added a touch of elegance and made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The hallways were wide enough for me to easily navigate with my walker, and there were handrails along the stairs for added support. It made me feel safe and secure during my stay.
I would have loved if they had offered more activities specifically catered to senior guests. It would have been nice to have organized excursions or gentle exercise classes available.
